Rescued little baboons

Today we would like to introduce you to a group of 11 monkeys, which we call a “kindergarten”.

The terrible events of March befell these little baboons at a private zoo in Yasnogorodka. After the successful rescue the cubs arrived at Kyiv Zoo. They were exhausted, scared and hungry. Gathered in one trembling handful, the little ones just sparkled with frightened eyes. The monkeys were afraid to move around the enclosure and they snatched food from the bowl in disbelief and swallowed it without looking.

3 months have passed since then. Careful guardianship and attention, professional care and feeding returned the cubs to normal life. They have gained weight and have already got used to the new home. And now they are happy to play in the sun and as all small children are the first to choose the sweetest dishes: bananas, cherries, apples, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and other delicacies.
