Lemur Bayraktar
Time is running fast, and our “children” are growing up even faster. So we decided to introduce you to them. And let’s start with the most famous zoobaby – Bayraktar, who was born on the 8th day of the war – March 3.
The stress of loud explosions and sirens became apparent, and the furry mother left her baby. But we did not give up and didn’t leave him.
The real godparents for the lemur were veterinarian Maria Shchankina and zoo director Kyrylo Trantin. So, Bayraktarchyk was saved and artificially raised.
This week our lemur turned 3 months old and he has already been transferred to the outdoor enclosure with a whole group of relatives with whom he has already became friends.
In addition to milk, the cub eats boiled vegetables, fruits and berries. Fresh lettuce and green willow shoots were especially popular. On such a useful diet, he has already increased 8 times his weight – from 60 to 500 g.
The family of animals of our zoo is diverse and interesting, and we will continue to introduce you to them, because life goes on!
