Today, the capital’s zoo celebrated the Day of Remembrance and Reconciliation and the 71st anniversary of the Day of Victory over Nazism in World War II. The youth section invited families charitable by the charity organization “Rehabilitation of Women with Children of Donetsk and Luhansk Regions”. Together they got acquainted with the tragic pages of the history of our hometown and the Zoo during the Second World War. And then, together with the Kyiv Zoo Club, they drew symbols of memory and peace to say loudly to everyone again: “We are children of peace. 1939-1945 – never again. “
