On October 15, the whole world celebrates the International Day of the Blind – White Cane Day. To celebrate this day, we held the next stage of the typhlozoological project “Zoo to the touch”. This time our guests felt the difference between chinchilla down and smooth snake scales, between the “armor” of a turtle and agave thorns, between partridge feathers and guinea pig hair :)) Also in the program were: a master class with a tactile cane from orienteering instructor Anatoly Varfolomeev, a tour of the contact zoo and an interesting interactive quiz.
