On October 23, the First International Scientific and Practical Conference “Psychological and Health Possibilities of a Modern Zoological Park” took place in Kyiv Zoological Park. Scientists from Ukraine, Georgia, Israel, experts and stakeholders discussed the concept of a modern zoo, zoo education, zootherapy, including pet therapy, canine therapy, hippotherapy, and other aspects of human-animal interaction and relationships. In this area, our country (science and law) lags far behind not only the flagship countries: the United States and Britain, but also inferior to European countries. Therefore, we must unite efforts for the development of zootherapy and animal education in Ukraine.
