The world action “Earth Hour” was launched in 2007. Usually, on this day, caring people organize environmental events and turn off the lights for an hour. On March 27, at 8:30 p.m., in support of the World Campaign in Kyivzoo, the lights at facilities that do not harm the zoo were turned off for one hour. And for our youngest visitors there was a thematic quiz “Collect an eco-bag” and a master class on making and painting candlesticks, which the children took with them to light candles in the evening during Earth Hour. Also, everyone connected flashlights and mobile phones to the solar panels and took great photos with the symbol of the event – “solar tree” 🙂
