There is an opinion that it is worth going to the zoo only in the warm season, because in winter there is nothing to do: it is cold outside, and all the animals sleep or are transferred to warm rooms where they are poorly visible. In fact, this is not the case at all: winter at the zoo is just as interesting as summer! Of course, in nature, frosts and deep snow complicate the lives of almost all living things: energy for thermoregulation is needed more than in summer, and food is much harder to find. Quite another matter in the zoo – there is enough food here in summer and winter :)) And when the animals are full and vigorous, many of them are quite capable of tolerating fairly low temperatures.
